Welcome to Harebell Cottage

Harebell Cottage is a beautiful two bedroom stone house located right at the top of the village of Curbar, just below the dramatic Baslow and Curbar Edge rocks. Popular with climbers, cyclists and walkers this is the ideal basecamp for your Peak District adventures.

The cottage has been finished to the highest standard. A beautiful bespoke kitchen for you to enjoy your culinary adventures. A cosy sitting room with a log burner, Earth’s comfiest sofa, books, games, and a huge television. We even have decent Wi-Fi!

Upstairs there are two high-ceilinged double bedrooms, one with an additional single bed. Both bedrooms have  en suite bathrooms, one of which has a giant shower, the other a shower and a huge stone bath tub.

There is plenty of private parking area for guests adjacent to the cottage, and a secluded outdoor garden from which to enjoy views of climbers scaling the edge above you.

We are a just a few minutes drive from some of Derbyshire's most popular spots such as Chatsworth House, the Longshaw Estate, Padley Gorge, the plague village of Eyam, Hathersage and Grindleford.

Best of all, leave the car and explore the hundreds of miles of footpaths that are right on your doorstep.

Harebell Cottage is named after my Dad's favourite flower, seen in abundance up here on the moors in late summer.
